Deposit Policy

For rings bought from Ready to Ship while still being finished in our workshop.

Your 30% deposit reserves that exact ring and locks its price. It is fully refundable up until we confirm your ring’s ready date with you. The balance is due within 3 days of that confirmation, and always before the ring is collected or dispatched. If timing is difficult, contact us — we are flexible and will do our best to meet your needs. We will always contact you before cancelling a reservation, and a cancelled deposit is always refunded in full.

• Reserves the ring. It is marked as sold. It may remain visible on the website, but nobody else can buy it.
• Locks your price. The price at deposit is the price you pay, even if our pricing changes before the ring is ready.
• Keeps your choices. The ring size, Secret Spark and delivery option you picked are held with the order. They are part of what we consider when we set your ready date, and we confirm both with you.

• When your ring’s completion is confirmed — this can be sooner than the original estimate — we contact you with the confirmed ready date and a payment link.
• The balance is due within 3 days of that confirmation.
• Full and final payment is required before the ring is collected or dispatched.
• Need longer? Contact us before the 3 days are up. We are flexible and will do our best to meet your needs.
• If the balance isn’t paid and we haven’t heard from you, we will try to reach you at least twice. If we still don’t hear back, we may cancel the reservation, return the ring to sale, and refund your deposit in full. No reply is treated as a cancellation, and the deposit always comes back in full.

• Before the ready date is confirmed: cancel any time for a full refund, no questions.
• If our date moves: we rarely move a confirmed date. In the unlikely case we must, we will contact you and do our best to make it work. If the date moves by more than 5 working days, you can cancel for a full refund.
• After the balance is paid: normal Ready to Ship terms take over — 14-day returns if unworn and not resized.
• Refunds go back the way you paid, within 10 working days.

Your deposit can move to a different ring, or to a made-to-order commission. Let us know and we will do our best.

Once your ring is paid in full, we can store it for you longer by agreement.

Duty-free purchase is not available on a deposit order. If you want duty free, tell us and we arrange it at the final payment.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act (New Zealand) or, for Australian customers, the Australian Consumer Law. We may update this policy at any time; the version published when you pay your deposit is the one that applies to your order. See also our Terms & Conditions.
