SUSTAINABILITY & RESPONSIBILITY

The most sustainable piece of jewellery is the one that's crafted with care, chosen with intention, and kept for a very long time.

That's the belief behind everything we do. Not a certification or a finished position — a practice. One we take seriously across the materials we choose, the way pieces are made, and the people behind them.

MADE TO LAST

Every Naveya & Sloane piece is built with longevity at the centre. Thoughtful design, considered craftsmanship and materials chosen to endure. A piece that stays in a family for generations is, by definition, the most responsible thing we can make.

That means no shortcuts in construction, no trends that date, and no compromise on the things that make a piece last.

RESPONSIBLE MATERIALS

We work with diamonds, gemstones and precious metals, and we take their provenance seriously. Our natural diamonds are sourced in accordance with the Kimberley Process, and where we can go further, like seeking greater transparency around origins and traceability, we do.

We're honest that this is ongoing work. The supply chains behind precious materials are complex, and we'd rather say that plainly than overstate where we are.

OUR PEOPLE

Well-made jewellery is made by people and that matters to us.

Our Auckland workshop is home to a team of jewellers and setters whose skill and attention to detail shape every piece. Keeping craft close to design means we can hold a high standard, and it means our team has a genuine connection to what they make.

We're equally committed to the kind of workplace where people can do purposeful work and have a life beyond it.

OUR APPROACH

We don't think sustainability is something you arrive at.

It's the accumulation of better choices. In design, in materials, in how we treat the people who make our jewellery and the clients who wear it. We'll keep making those choices, and keep being honest about where we're still working things out.
